What a year it has been. A year full of surprises, good and bad – but mostly a year where you all where starving for new content. The long-awaited, extra-long Episode 3 is finally here.
The last year hasn’t been normal in any shape or form, for any of us, and many a plan we had didn’t quite work out the way we had hoped. This release will not include the long-awaited Android fix some of you have been waiting for and meanwhile, Capcom has removed both games from all digital storefronts. We are still commited to rectify this, people who have bought the games on PlayStore still spent their hard-earned money trusting that we would come through and I promise, we will. Here’s to hoping Capcom will restore the games eventually.
Many of you have read the news about the leaks, and so have we. There seems to be something big on the horizon, and you have questions. So do we. If the rumors turn out to be true, we hope you will join us in supporting Capcom finally bringing this gem to the west. Niche games like DGS need all the support they can get. Let’s show them that localizing these games is worth their time. It will definitely be interesting to see where the official translation will differ from ours, but as we said on twitter, we do not intend to comment on the situation further until Capcom chooses to make a public announcement.

I’m playing right now but I can’t find the save button. It’s a bug or something like that?
This is fantastic! But is there a reason I can’t save in the middle of chapters? The icon that is usually on the touch screen isn’t there. It still allows me to save after the “To Be Continued” transitions though.
Wait, never mind. I apparently don’t know how to read the instructions. For anyone else who has this issue, start from the chapter menu instead of your previous save file.
Thanks to the whole team for all the hard work!! I’m holding back until the whole game is out, but you better believe I’ll be appreciating every second of effort that’s gone into this project when I get to play it.

I was expecting the the whole game translated because I’d like to play it entirely without having to wait between episodes, but this is still good news and I’m glad to see the entire translation is still on its way! Thanks a lot for your hard work! Keep it up! 😉

But the thing that bothers me is that it’s not clear if you are going to continue the translation or not…
If you believe the leak is real, then there is no reason to continue…but if you still have doubts, and you put it on hold…then when will you pick it up again?
I do want to believe that you will continue and assume that the leak doesn’t confirm anything
Until there is an official announcement by Capcom, we don’t see any reason to change anything, so nothing is on hold. And like I said in the blog post, until there is an announcement, we don’t want to comment further on anything. We may do that if and when that happens.

Had to leave a huge thank you to the team for this. This chapter was one of the longest in any of the games [Bave Spirit of Justice]. And it was well worth the wait!
The only problem here is the time: you work so hard for about a year to release an episode that can be played in 3 days…
However, you put so much effort in it. I had a great time playing this episode, thank you so much for all your work, it is not vain at all.
The amount of work they must put in is astounding. Countless translations, sprite/3d model edits and recodes. I can see how a fan group takes a year to get this out in quality equal to if-not-better than any Official AA localisation. It’s amazing to see it done justice
OMG FINALLY. Been spamming this page for like a year since the release of previous post. Kinda gave up midway (around March 2021) thinking that you guys had given up on the project per the announcement of localisation on switch. Thank you very much for your work! Really looking forward for the complete translation. You did such a favor for us who really longs to play this in English and cannot own a switch. Even though I own a switch and have no problem buying the games, I chose to wait for your translation of the 3ds version, it just seems a better way to enjoy the game. Can’t wait for the last 2 episodes to come out! =)
I bought the games for the switch but… I actually preferred the flow of your translation (though the approach is really similar). Also I cannot play the switch in bed with one hand. So just patiently waiting for this one to finish 🙂
